Minnovation cd

I just received my copy of minnovation. Although I'm of not fan of electronica music, I find the title track "Minnovation" rather pleasing to my ears. Track 2 "Love me ice cream sounds quite soothing, nothing electronic or too heavy. On the whole, I quite enjoy this mini album as compared to some of his previous "heavier" works.

The cd I received from Yesasia by post was a problem - as the cd case had cracked during international shipping & delivery. I had to dump the orange case (which would have been perfect) as Orange is the colour of Shinhwa (always a Shinhwa, even as a solo artist). I had to plough through my shelves of cd to look for a similar cd case, but sad to say, I had no orange cd case. Fortunately, the cd was not scratched or damaged in any way.

That was the only upset in this whole Minnovation episode.

Minnovation tops charts

Heard from some Korean friends that M's latest mini album, Minnovation is doing very well and topping a few charts in Korea. I'm so happy for him, that his hard work has paid off. To cheer him on, I've created a few posters of M.

Dongwan's concert dvd

I've just received my copy of Dongwan's concert dvd. It came with a beautiful poster. I'm watching the concert now and Dongwan looks very good on stage. I think he drew his eyes a little with some eyeliner and his eyes look great. Ha, he just removed his jacket and now is in a sleeveless t-shirt, showing off his muscular arms. He lost some weight for this concert, and now his jawline is really defined (whoa)! His singing is perfect and he hasn't done anything funny yet. Towards the end, when he was singing the last few songs, he was a little emotional and I cried too, missing him. Seeing him get his head shaved and ready to enlist was also very upsetting. Anyway, Dongwan, you've got another 16 months to go. I'll keep the promise and wait for your return.

Shin Hye Sung Asia Tour 2009

The man who can't get married - OST

Hyesung participated in the OST of a new K-drama "A man who can't get married". This OST is now available for preordering on Yesasia. Although Hyesung only sang one song in this OST, he did very well, as usual, rendering his angelic voice and making this OST worth getting my hands on.

Minnovation - shipped

Yippee! Yesasia has shipped my Minnovation today. I am excited to listen to the album especially after watching the full mv on Youtube. The mv looks so colourful and the music is catchy and addictive. M, Fighting.

My friend just sent me this picture. I didn't know that Hyesung takes the bus. I wonder where he is going. HaHa! It seems the promotion for his Taiwan concert is going on really well. Hope the tickets sell out and I wish him all the best.

Kim Dongwan - sold out

Dongwan's concert dvd (with the folded poster) is already sold out. That's fast! That shows how popular Dongwan is. Everyone likes his singing! The ones left on Yesasia are those that are a little more expensive as the posters come in a tube.

Minwoo's Minnovation

The fans in Korea are so lucky. Minwoo's new album will be released today in Korea, but for international orders like mine, I don't think it will be shipped today. I should only be able to get my hands on Minnovation in early July. Sigh! Minwoo must be worried about the sales and the reviews and I don't think he needs to worry. After more than 10 years in the business, he's doing very well and getting better at his music making, lyric writing and producing.

Dongwan's concert dvd - shipped

Wow. Just received confirmation from Yesasia that they've shipped Dongwan's concert dvd to me. I hope to receive it by next week and spend the last few days of my holidays watching it. Oh, I really can't wait to get my hands on it. Its so exciting just thinking about it.

I checked through the song list posted at Yesasia and was a little disappointed that he did not perform his duet with Hyesung (Nameun Saram). If my memory does not fail me, in all the 9 albums + the winter & summer story albums, there is not a single duet sung by Hyesung and Dongwan. Maybe Hyesung was busy? Sigh.

Kim Dongwan's first solo concert dvd

Dongwan's concert dvd will be released on 22nd June. I am sure he'll be very happy. Dongwan's fans will be even happier to see his concert dvd, especially fans like me who could not go to Korea to attend his concert.

Live & Let Live concert dvd

Hyesung's Live & Let Live concert dvd will be released but it is the Japan version. There are only Japanese subtitles. It is going to be released in late August and is now available for preordering. I am going to wait till August before ordering as I want to wait and see if he'll release another version with English subtitles. The cover for the dvd is not available yet.

Minnovation - coming soon

M's Minnovation is ready for pre-ordering. It seems there might be different cover designs for albums bearing different serial numbers. There is also a version (which is a little more expensive) that comes with a poster (which shows his perfect abs).

Best male singer in Korea

Hyesung is the best male singer in Korea, with a heavenly voice that expresses all kinds of emotions very well. When listening to his songs, his voice draws you into his world or into the lyrics of the song. His voice is like a rainbow after a rainy day, a fluffy, clean and soft white cloud against a clear blue sky. He has a refreshing voice, to pick me up at the end of a long, tiring day at work. Yet, his voice is also so sweet and soft, it can put me gently to sleep like an angel singing the sweetest lullaby. He has the ability to express himself well in a wide variety of genres - from rock & dance songs to R & B and ballads. I love Shin Hye Sung's voice.

Dongwan's 1st concert dvd

Here is the list of songs he sang at his 1st concert. It does not mention any special guest performance but I hope to see a few Shinhwa members on stage with him. My favourite "Handkerchief" is the last song on the dvd.

Junjin singing in Taiwan

Jinnie had some performance in Taiwan. The Taiwanese fans are so lucky to see him.

Park Jun Jin in Taiwan

Jinnie went to Taiwan a few days ago. I don't know if he's back but I pray that he has a good trip and hope he can find some time to take a breather and enjoy the sights before his enlistment.

Kim Dongwan's concert dvd

It's finally out. Dongwan's concert dvd is going to be released in a few weeks time. It's available for preordering at Yesasia. Just saw it and have ordered it. Its so exciting and I can't wait to get my hands on it, to see Dongwan in action again after so long.

Park Choong Jae

I've received Jinnie's album - Fascination. It's good. I love every song in the album. Love his sexy voice too but its a mini album, not a full one. I've got to wait another 2 years before getting my hands on another of Jun Jin's album. Sigh... 2 long years! I hope they go by quickly.

Minnovation Postponed

M's latest album has been postponed till the end of this month. I think he wants to refine certain areas and leave us with a beautiful piece of work for us to remember him for the next two years that he will be enlisted in the army. Its not available for preordering yet at Yesasia. I'm craning my neck everyday, looking out for it. Minwoo, all the best.
